Denim on a Budget!

Don’t get me wrong, ladies, I love expensive designer jeans. Andres would out me if I didn’t straight shoot that to you all right off the bat. However, sale shopping is my favorite (thank you mama for teaching me to always look for a sale), even though sometimes I want to just splurge… oh, the urge to splurge!! When it comes to denim though, even a sale (while very tempting) doesn’t always help the hurt your bank account feels afterwards. After our move, I donated tons of my clothes and many were jeans. So today I wanted to share with you some recent denim purchases that I have added to my closet. Oh, and the best and most important part? Each is under $100!

Denim under 100

1. BDG Twig High-Rise Jean – Splash Patches (Urban Outfitters) $39

Ripped jeans are definitely trending, especially for spring, but when I saw these ripped ankle biting jeans with the patches I thought they were so cute. Plus, they were only $39! How can you say no?! Obviously I don’t want every pair of my jeans to be high-rise, but I do like it for these (and no I am not particularly a crop top wearing girl). Anywho… they have a stretch feel to them, they were originally $69 but on sale (and still are, by the way!). You can find them here.

2. BDG Twig Mid-Rise Jean – Indigo Sunset (Urban Outfitters)  $39

Again, another from Urban Outfitters – I love UO! Same price, same original price, same happiness. This pair is just really simple and can be an everyday look. I also like this wash for summer. Check them out here.

3. BDG Twig Grazer High-Rise Jean – New Rinse (Urban Outfitters) ⇒ $39

I got this dark wash from UO because I love dark wash denim. Dark denim is perfect for a night out, in my opinion, and just gives a really classic and more refined look to an outfit. The pair I was going to get from Revolve was just over $100 and since I had been buying a couple of new things, I didn’t want to go for it. Instead, I chose these; additionally, they have a bit of stretch to them, which while you’re preggo and a mama is never a bad thing!

4. BlankNYC ‘Good Vibes’ Distressed Skinny Jeans (Nordstrom)  $88

Ok. This might be my new favorite pair that I own. BlankNYC is fairly underrated. I had been eyeing these for so long, wondering if they were just really looking good on the model, but honestly, they are really cute! I love the way they are ripped, the fit is just right – tight, but not too tight, you know? – and the wash is really nice, light and a good fit for spring. For such good quality, they are only $88 and that is well worth it to me!

5. River Island Hugo Ultimate Boyfriend Jean (Asos)  $81

Rather than do a major splurge on another pair of boyfriend jeans, I decided to be a responsible adult and search around. I found these at Asos and fell for them. Good buy! They fit really nicely and are very comfortable. Plus, I don’t have to worry about my growing backside ripping that $200 pair of pants. (Seriously though, I recently ripped the butt of a pair of my favorite jeans – sad moment.)

There are so many other options out there, so if you’re in the market for some new jeans and not looking to splurge, then check out Nordstrom, Asos, Urban Outfitters, and the list goes on… Below I will link some of my other favorites. In the meantime, you can also check out this post by one of my favorite bloggers. I had this post already planned when I saw that she too had the same idea in mind, but since it goes so perfectly with this post, it should give you plenty of ideas for some wallet-saving shopping 😉
