First off, I would like to apologize for being absent the past two days. Isabella was sick and I was simultaneously trying to organize/put together our bedroom which looks like it has been torn apart by the Tasmanian devil. I swear we’re not actual slobs… most of the time. Anyways, back to the good stuff! Today I am going to be reviewing a product that I absolutely adore and have been using for a few years now: Vichy Laboratories Dermafinish Fluid Corrective Foundation.
As many of you know, I have constant skin dilemmas. Being in my twenties and having skin like a pre-pubescent youngster is not exactly the highlight of my life, nor does it help boost self-confidence when you are breaking out like an adolescent (I seriously hope Isabella doesn’t have bad skin). With my own skin-securities aside, this product is one that has really been helpful in covering blemishes, dark spots, and acne while not leaving a cakey finish or needing to use a lot of product. If we’re talking about my personal makeup necessities, then this is #2 (behind mascara). Though this is a foundation, I actually use it to conceal as well because I find that it conceals better than other products I have tried, and therefore, it essentially works as a 2-in-1 product. For my skin, I wear #25, or the shade nude.
Notice above the fluidity of the product. Usually I am not one for liquid foundations, but this one doesn’t leave that masked finish. Below are pre & post-foundation application pictures to show you the magic:
1. Cheek/Chin Area
2. Under-eye Area
3. Lip Blemish
4. Full Face Post-Product Application
For me, I notice a huge difference after applying the Vichy Dermafinish foundation. I dab a small amount of product on the blemish or area and then gently blend in with a concealer brush or my finger. Rather than swipe my finger or the brush around I continuously dab the product until it is blended in. These pictures are not edited, this is with the product, I promise! Go check out their website; they have tons of different kinds of products catered towards different skin-related problems. I love this stuff & I hope you all found this helpful!
